Proudly serving Hixson, one of Chattanooga’s oldest and most resilient Northside communities!
Founded in the early 1820s by the pioneering Hixson family, this beautiful area along North Chickamauga Creek quickly grew from scattered farms and grist mills into a thriving railroad stop in the 1870s–80s. The community officially took the name “Hixson” in 1880 and has never looked back.
Known for its rolling hills, mature trees, and scenic views of Walden’s Ridge, Hixson has weathered legendary floods (1867, 1917, 1973, and beyond), each one reminding residents why smart grading, proper drainage, and tough Tennessee landscaping matter. Today, with neighborhoods like Big Ridge, Lakeside, Valleybrook, and DuPont, Hixson blends small-town charm with suburban convenience—just minutes from downtown Chattanooga.
From historic homesteads to brand-new builds, we’ve been keeping Hixson lawns, gardens, and outdoor spaces looking their best for years. If you call Hixson home, we’ve got you covered!
